Thy Rod & Thy Staff Non-Denominational Church began in the year 2000. Our church is open to all. Our ultimate goal is to spread the Gospel as far and wide as we can! We also feature volunteer opportunities! If you want to give back to your community, we’d love your assistance! We perform regular community outreach services, so don’t be shy about reaching out! Our Non-Denominational church is available to all residents of Milwaukee. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’ve been. It’s never too late to get saved and find Christ! If you’re ready to open your heart, please join us this Saturday at 10am!
Meet Pastor Curtis Peterson
Pastor Peterson received his formal pastoral training at Andrews University Seminary in 1980 where he earned a Masters of Divinity degree. This was followed by chaplaincy training and a chaplaincy internship at hospitals in South Bend, IN and Kalamazoo, MI. He also holds a Masters degree in Blind Rehabilitation which he received from Western Michigan University in 1986.
Pastor Peterson is the pastor of Thy Rod and Thy Staff Non-Denominational Church and has been since its inception in 2000. He is married to the former Judith Smithback and has four adult children.
